Story summary: Using rhymes about artists and their works, students learn math concepts and art at the same time. 

My reaction:  This is a fun, singsongy way to introduce math concepts of grouping and adding.
Activity:  Cut out manipulatives made from pictures similar to those in the book and allow students to group them as requested.
