Story summary:  Little Critter's family is having a new baby!  Little Critter is very excited about all of the things he will do with this little one and gets ready with his toys and books to play with the new baby.  He soon discovers that the new baby doesn't do much besides cry, eat and get smelly.  He can't do all the things he likes to do with this new baby but he can take her for a walk and show her to his friends. She really is not so bad after all.
My reaction: This is a great book to help children understand what it means to have a new baby in their home.
